Research Navigator Acceptable Use Policy
This is the acceptable use policy which, together with our Terms of Website Use, sets out the terms on which we allow you to use Research Navigator, whether as a visitor or a member. All enquiries should be directed to info@MargaretCollins.com.
Prohibited uses of our site
You must use the site lawfully and must not use it for, among other things:
- any fraudulent activity;
- any activity that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- sending unsolicited advertising or spam to other members;
- reproducing, selling, or otherwise handling the site or its content other than as permitted in our Membership Terms;
- introducing viruses or other harmful code, or attempting unauthorised access to the site or its systems.
Contributing and interacting
Where the site allows you to post comments or interact with other members, you are responsible for ensuring your contributions are, as far as you know, factually correct, represent your honest opinion, and do not breach any law.
Contributions must not be defamatory, obscene, offensive, or discriminatory; must not infringe anyone else's intellectual property or privacy; and must not harass, threaten, or impersonate any other person.
Moderation
Where we provide an interactive feature, we will let you know whether it is moderated and, if so, how to contact the moderator. We are not obliged to moderate content and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from it.
Breaches of this policy
Any breach of this policy will be treated in the same way as a breach of our Terms of Website Use, and may result in your access to interactive features, or your Membership, being restricted.
