The second component that we need to be aware of if we want to invest our resources in deep work and develop our focus is an awareness of our environment. As walking into a library creates an almost physical “Hush”, your environment can invite you to sit, to study, to engage deeply in your chosen activity - or not. What is it about your environment that helps you to focus?
